Like horseback riding, shooting game has a long history in the Czech Republic, and is a tradition that has emerged from communists repression still intact. The Czech-Moravian Hunting Association has 12000 members, and 5214 hunting areas.
The big drawback for the aspiring hunter is the prohibitively long course the Association requires for prospective members to take. This basic training involves a full year of intensive study of firearms, veterinary science and ecology. A good alternative is to contact Interlov, a travel agent that specializes in hunting and shooting trips.
Interlov arrange all over the area of Czech Republic in the free hunting districts and parks for the foreign and czech clients the following hunting actions:
The individual hunt at roe deer, red deer, sika deer, brocket virgine, fallow deer, mouflon, chamois and wild boar
The group hunt with driven game shooting at wild boar
The hunt at the small game - pheasants, wild ducks, hares
For foreign clients we arrange the hunting permit including the insurance of the responsibility of damages during hunt, the special guide - interpreter, accommodation, transport and other demands.
