The original Czechoslovak Golf Association was one of the founder members of the European Golf Association in 1937 - Luxembourg. The membership was suspended since the Second World War till 1968. Since 1969 the Czechoslovak Golf Association has taken part in
the World Amateur Golf Council.
The Czechoslovak Golf Association became extinct on the 31
st December 1992. The authority of this association was taken by the Bohemian and Moravian Golf Union. A change of the name of this association was passed at the time of the conference of BMGU in February 1993. The contemporary name is the
