If you have the free time - go to the cinema. The money is not the problem since most cinemas charge around 100,- KCZ or less for entry. Expect to be asked where to sit, and if you don't fancy being pelted with popcorn go for the balcony. The older ones are a lesson in quirky decor and alarming staff. Wait for the bong that signals the beginning of the show.
For extra architectural interest try out Lucerna (owned by the President's sister in law), Jalta for the cavernous 70's feel, or Hvezda which has a cool coffee bar attached. Only children's films are dubbed.
